Flying Tigers, VHS, Color, 65 minutes
$19.99
Brig. Gen. Claire Chennault’s Flying Tigers were proof of his tactical fighter concepts depicted in his controversial book “The Role of Defensive Pursuit”. Against extraordinary odds, these true war heroes exceeded the limits of aerial warfare. Living on the edge, living on a starvation diet of supplies, outnumbered and under equipped, the Flying Tigers turned adversity into incredible successes. The Flying Tigers destroyed 2,000 Japanese supply boats, shot down 2,5000 Japanese planes, killed 35,000 Japanese troops, destroyed and sunk 1,750,000 tons of Japanese merchant shipping. Their combat successes have hay to be equalled to this day.
